These terms govern your use of TheCGMPAcademy.com and everything you buy through it: training videos, companion handouts, assessments, SOP libraries, SOP-linked forms, mock inspection checklists, poster libraries and software access.
The service is operated by J&J Compliance Consulting Group, registered at registered address required. By creating an account or making a purchase you accept these terms.
Your account and your licence
Every licence is personal and non-transferable. Foundation is licensed to one named individual. Proficiency and Mastery are licensed to between one and five named individuals depending on the seats purchased. A Facility License covers every person at one named site for the term, including people hired during it.
You must give accurate registration details and verify your email address. Unverified accounts cannot reach protected content.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Credentials must not be shared, and seat limits are enforced on our servers.
Your account is registered under exactly one industry track. Changing it is an administrative action and progress does not transfer between tracks.
We may suspend an account where we find credential sharing, an attempt to circumvent seat limits, or an attempt to copy or redistribute protected content.
Purchases, prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated from your billing address and displayed before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
One-time purchases (Foundation and Proficiency) are perpetual. The version you buy is yours to keep and does not change. Corrections to that version are included; revisions made after the regulation changes are not.
Annual subscriptions (Mastery and the Facility License) renew each year until cancelled, and include continuous updates for as long as they are active.
Orders of $2,000 or more may be paid by bank debit. Access opens when the payment settles.
Invoiced orders are issued on net-30 terms. Access opens when the invoice is paid, not when it is issued.
Access is granted only once payment is confirmed by our payment provider. A completed checkout page is not itself proof of payment.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Annual plans renew automatically. Before you buy one we show you the exact amount that will be charged, the billing frequency, the date of the first renewal and how to cancel, and you must tick a box confirming you have read them.
You can cancel at any time from your billing portal, in the same number of steps it took to subscribe. There is no phone call and no email requirement. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
When a subscription ends, access to videos, the SOP library and forms ends with it. Training records and assessment results generated during the term remain exportable for 90 days after expiry.
Videos are streamed only. They are never supplied as a downloadable file, they are watermarked with the identity of the person watching, and playback requires a short-lived token tied to your session.
Documents supplied as templates - SOPs, forms, checklists and handouts - may be downloaded, edited and used inside your own organisation for your own compliance purposes. They may not be resold, published, or supplied to a third party as a product or as part of a consulting deliverable.
Do not record, copy, re-host or redistribute any video.
Do not share your credentials or allow another person to use your seat.
Do not use the platform, its content or its AI features to build a competing training or documentation product.
What this training is, and what it is not
The Academy is an educational resource. It is not endorsed, supported, sponsored or promoted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and no FDA affiliation is claimed or implied. No member of our team is a current or former FDA investigator or employee.
The product contains no completion certificates. The evidence of completion is an e-signed training record.
No accreditation body certifies this training, and no certificate substitutes for demonstrated competency in your facility.
Content is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute legal advice or a consulting engagement. No plan includes consulting hours.
Regulatory requirements change. You are responsible for verifying current requirements against the regulation as published by the FDA.
Video content is produced using AI-generated presenters.
We describe our video protection honestly: content is encrypted, tokenized and watermarked to deter and trace capture. We do not claim screen recording is technically impossible.
AI features
The in-course AI tutor answers only from the materials of the package you are studying, and cites the regulation it is drawing on. Where the materials do not cover a question, it says so rather than answering from general knowledge.
AI answers are a study aid. They are not a regulatory determination and must not be relied on as the sole basis for a compliance decision. Verify against the regulation as published.
Liability
Liability position to be settled with counsel. This section will set out the limitation of liability, the exclusion of indirect and consequential loss, and the cap by reference to amounts paid in the preceding twelve months.
Changes to these terms and to the service
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email before it takes effect. The version of the terms you accepted at checkout is recorded with your order.
Training content is revised as regulations change. Which plans receive those revisions is set out under Purchases above.
